Dead Money, the first batch of downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas, is now available on Xbox Live, and we've got a lovely screenshot gallery so the PC and PlayStation 3 gamers can play along. Fallout: New Vegas players that scraped up the 800 Microsoft point asking price for the Xbox 360-exclusive Dead Money are likely searching for the lost treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino as we speak, so they need no gallery.

Bethesda has released a new patch for the Xbox 360 version of Fallout New Vegas which, hopefully, will fix the majority of issues with Obsidian's notoriously buggy RPG. The patch, which went live on PS3 and PC late last week, introduces a substantial amount of fixes, one of which takes care of the game ending 'corrupted save file' issue. [unpatched 360 version played] Fallout New Vegas is a RPG of great proportions with its vast setting, huge replay ability, and follows in the footsteps of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and its sister-prequel Fallout 3. Fallout New Vegas (FNV) is developed by Obsidian and published by Bethesda, who also created the gaming engine (we’ll get more into that later). FNV starts off with the protagonist being shot in the head and being left for dead in the Mojave desert outside New Vegas, the renamed strip of casinos that were untouched by the nuclear bombs of 2077. But big surprise you raise from the dirt and begin your journey to unravel the mystery of who shot you and why. The game is taxing in the effects of time, patience, attention, and will. You can easily spend a month playing this game and still find new things to do, people and creatures to kill, and missions to accomplish. Click "READ MORE" for the full review! |
